The overall workflow:

  1. Download and install the tools, try it out.
  2. Purchase the tools.
  3. Send me the user request code, and I will send back the registration code to complete your registry.

So here is how to do step 3:

  1. If you checked on "Register MGtools" option during the install process, after the installation the register dialog will pop up:
  2. Copy the user code, email to mgtoolspro@gmail.com for the authorization code.
P.S.You can use the copy button or select and Ctrl+C to copy the user code.
  3. Once you receive the authorization code, just paste them in the "Authorization Code" field in the dialog and hit "Activate !!".
  4. If you missed the register dialog during the installation process, check out here to bring up the same dialog again.

For batch registering of multiple licenses in a real production environment, check out the "Distribute MGTools" session here.

After hitting the "Activate!!" button, normally you get a dialog like this, which means your registry is successful:

If you get this dialog instead:

you can safely ignore it, till now for the different MGTools minor versions there is nothing get locked.
This dialog appears when you registered MGTools in older minor/major version, and then install a newer version of MGTools and try to reuse the old code.

If it failed to register:

Chances are you provided the wrong user request code, or I send you the wrong registration code, or simply you pasted the wrong registration code. Sometimes I send the code in the form of "user code > registration code":

WIN-03P3-7363-4BED-0D31-124E-1431 > WIN-03P3-####-####-####-####-####-####-####-####-####-####-####-####

The code you need to copy and paste into the registry dialog is the one after ">", not the full string.
